VITAE
Born
1965 in Stuttgart, Germany.
Primary
School and High School from 1971-1984.
Student of Fine Arts in Stuttgart (1985 - 1987, graphics)
and Düsseldorf
(1987 - 1991, painting).
Since 1984 cooperation with several associations of nature
conservation as a
specialist for ecology and systematics of Ground Beetles (Coleoptera,
Carabidae).
Since 1993 freelance illustrator with main emphasis on
entomological
illustrations.
1999 start with the revisional work on the exclusively
african genus Dromica
(Coleoptera, Cicindelidae) in cooperation with several
colleagues and
institutions:
British Museum of Natural History, London; Muséum d´Histoire
Naturelle,
Paris; Musée Royal de L´Afrique Centrale, Tervuren;
Deutsches Entomologisches
Institut, Eberswalde; Transvaal Museum of Natural History,
Pretoria; South
African Museum, Cape Town and others.
Collecting trips to different countries: Madagascar, Egypt,
Zimbabwe,
Namibia, South Africa, Irian Jaya and others.
Presently living in Rosenstrasse
9, D-71083 Herrenberg, Germany.
